Kataka is a Black performer and teaching artist based in Seattle. They are currently performing as Kameeka in

"The Hula Hoopin' Queen" at Seattle Children's Theatre. Previously seen as Erzulie in "Once On This Island" at

Village Theatre.

Kataka takes pride in educating the upcoming performing artists of Today!

When she isn't working, Kataka

is finding inspiration at the theatre, at home reading or writing, listening to music, and cuddling with her cats,

Amy and Rolo.
